Terms

ALL RESERVATIONS AND AGREEMENTS are made upon, and are subject to, the following conditions:

Definite Booking and Deposit Requirements

Once you have signed and returned our contract along with a 50% deposit, your event will be secured and considered a definite booking. All deposits are subject to the terms of the Agreement.

Compensation

For the services rendered by NOLA Queen as required by this Agreement, the Client will pay to NOLA Queen compensation on the following basis: Payment can be made by the number or type of menu items, number of guest, per plate, number of servers required for the event, or any other formula agreed upon by both parties.

Unless other arrangements have been made or NOLA Queen has agreed to payment terms proposed by the Client, final payment of the remainder balance is due and demandable four (4) days prior to the Event but no later than upon delivery of the contracted goods and/or services. Final balances not received upon delivery are subject to a late fee of $75 per day in addition to the final balance.

NOLA Queen may cancel the Agreement at any time if the Client does not adhere to the payment schedule.  If cancelled by NOLA Queen for untimely payment, the Client forfeits all deposits paid.

We gladly accept all major credit cards and business checks.  Personal checks and cash are not accepted. 

Cancellations

A written notice of cancellation is required.

If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to the event, the deposit is non-refundable.

If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the event, you acknowledge that NOLA Queen will suffer damages (such as the lost opportunity to book other events on the date of your event, purchase of food and supplies, expenses of the services of NOLA Queen’s staff, etc.) and that the amount of actual damages caused by the late cancelation of this contract would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to quantify.  For the late cancellation of this contract (within 4 – 7 days or less prior to the event), the Client will forfeit deposit and incur a penalty of 25% of the remaining balance.

Cancellations, for whatever reason or cause (including without limitation Acts of God, weather, cancellation by location, etc.) the Client will remain obligated to pay the above mentioned penalties accordingly. 

Service Fee

Our service fee of 18% includes delivery, setup, and paper and plastic products (utensils, plates, and cups). Condiments are also included.

Delivery Radius

25 miles from our base (zip 30047) is included in the 18% service fee.  Additional fees apply to deliveries beyond this range.

Servers and Attendants

Negotiable upon request.

Food Policy

For staffed events, NOLA Queen disposes of uneaten food and beverage items remaining upon the completion of each event. If you or any of your guests request to take any of the remaining uneaten food items, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold NOLA Queen and its affiliates and their respective employees, representatives, agents and independent contractors harmless from any claims, injuries, losses or damages (including personal injury, wrongful death, and attorney’s fees) arising from or related to the post-event consumption of leftover catered food and beverage items.

Damage and Liability

NOLA Queen maintains general liability and automobile liability insurance for the services it provides. You understand that NOLA Queen shall not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any items provided, rented or furnished by you unless such loss or damage was caused solely by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of NOLA Queen. In any event, NOLA Queen’s liability for any claim arising under this Catering Contract (including, without limitation, failure to provide the services, is limited to the contract price amount paid by you plus $500. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold NOLA Queen and its affiliates and their respective employees, representatives, agents and independent contractors harmless from any claims, injuries, losses or damages (including personal injury, wrongful death, and attorney’s fees) arising from or related to the event, unless such loss or damage was caused solely by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of NOLA Queen.

Food Guarantees

Food guarantees are required ten (10) business days in advance. If the number of guests in your group increases less than 72 hours before your event, we cannot guarantee the additional guests will receive the same menu item(s). If the actual number served is less than the guarantee, you will be charged for the number given at the ten (10) business day cut-off.
